I'm loving the creativity of those working within the flexible boundaries of the Steampunk field at the moment, and I'm always happy to see anything filmic as my bookshelves are groaning with Steampunk primary texts that I'm actively trying to counterbalance in terms of my research. This Steampunky stop animation short was a pleasant surprise this morning. Found via a #steampunk search on twitter, via @shawnroos. From the blurb on The Falcon's website that this film will be the first in a series, so bookmark the link and keep an eye on the progress.
